Payment Options:

  • Due to the custom made nature of the products we manufacture, customers are required to pre-pay their orders. Orders $500 or less require payment in full when order is placed. Orders greater than $500 require a 50% deposit or $500, whichever is greater. 
  • We offer an open account upon approval of credit. Credit approval normally takes 10 business days. Our credit terms are net 30 days. Statements are rendered on the 25th of each month. Accounts with invoices due over 30 days are subject to be placed on COD until the past due amount is collected. A service charge of 1.5% of the past due balance will be added to the account each month. Orders placed by customers with a past due balance will not be processed until arrangements for payment have been made with our credit department.
  • Processing an order for a customer is an extension of credit by Harris Door. Payment is expected for any order placed. Any cancellations or changes by your customer are at your expense.
  • Checks returned for any reason are subject to a $35.00 collection fee. Accounts with excessive returned checks may be required to submit payment in the form of a cashier’s check or money order.
  • We accept cash, personal and business checks. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.


  • All order are piece counted and signed-off at each production station. Once an order is completed it receives a final inspection and piece count before being wrapped and made available to the customer. We recommend the customer doing a piece count when receiving the products before signing for the order.
  • All claims for damaged or incorrect items must be made within 24 hours of receipt of order. Notify our office immediately of any discrepancies. An investigation into your claim will be made. if a determination is made for the replacement of a product, the original item(s) needing replacement must be returned before credit will be issued. credit will only be issued if the returned item does not meet our stated specification. Replacement does not cover labor, installation or removal of product.

Additional Charges:

  • Orders that are requested outside our normal lead-time will be charged a 35% rush charge. It is at the discrepancy of Harris Door to temporarily discontinue the availability of processing an order as rush. Workload and demand will determine the availability, lead-time and delivery date of a rush order.
  • A 10% up-charge will be incurred for non-standard frame widths on doors and panel ends.
  • A 35% to 45% up-charge will be incurred for non-standard thickness. A maximum thickness of 1” is available.


  • We ship small orders by UPS. Orders over UPS size guidelines are shipped by common carrier. A handling fee is charged in addition to shipping charges. 


  • Delivery is available to a limited area via our fleet. Deliveries are scheduled in accordance to the driver’s route. A delay may occur in outlying areas. Please check with the office as to the frequency of delivery to your area. You will be notified before delivery is attempted. It is the responsibility of the customer to be available to accept the delivery. Once scheduled, repeated attempts at delivery will be at the expense of the customer.
  • A delivery charge will be assessed for all orders. Repeated attempts or deliveries made outside our normal delivery area will have an additional charge.
